Workout after school today. 6x800 a bit faster than 5k pace. It was super hard because the grass hasn't been mowed in a while so it was really long. My legs felt like jello from the start. I was begging Coach Ryan to let me take my trainers off and do them barefoot but he wouldn't let me until the last one. He said if I didn't do it in under 2:35 I had to do another so I ran 2:32 which felt easy without big bulky trainers in the long grass. |
