| 7x800 on the seminary field today. It was nice and overcast with occasional light showers which made me very happy. Hit good times on them, worked together with Zack and Jamison on the first 6, then cruised a in a quick last one with Jamison. Times were 2:30, 2:27, 2:25, 2:24, 2:24, 2:22, 2:16. Afterwards we did a fun cool down in the rain. |

| Tough workout today. 5x600 hills, with 3x400 on the track after. I felt pretty good on the first 4 hills, then the last one my stomach started to hurt but I pushed extra hard to stay on pace. Times were 1:58, 1:55, 1:57, 1:56, 1:56. On the way back to the school I had to stop at Walmart and go to the bathroom so I missed the first 400, then I struggled through the remaining two with stomache cramps and called it good. Times were 65 on both the 4's. Shoutout to Craik who dropped a 58 on the last 400. Later went and did 5 with Walton. Good times. |

| Fun race today. The format is different in that you have each of your varsity guys in 7 different races, then you add up scores to see who won. I was our second to last runner, and we won every race before me so that was cool. Gun went off and I went out in dead last. I moved my up throughout the first half mile and tucked in behind Addison Hedges from Weber, and just kind of chilled til the mile. The course was pretty hilly so I wanted to run it conservatively, and I think ran pretty smart. After the mile I surged down the hill and never really looked back. I just kinda maintained pace and ended up winning by more than 20 seconds. I got a cool shirt and we ended up winning with 8 points! The only person who didn't win their race was Jamison, but he only lost to Talon so it was good. I ended up with the second fastest time of the day behind Talon. Overall a good day. We also got new jerseys and they are soooooooo sick. Afterwards I went up Big cottonwood canyon, hiked up to Lake Blanche, took a nice nap on top of this old dam, then ran down and ice bathed. Fun stuff. |
