Didnt run, but did some intense snowshoeing that im gonna count. My cousin, uncle, and I snowshoed up to the summit of big baldy. The first mile wasn't too bad as we were going up dry canyon, but once we started going up the ridge it got very very steep. It took us three hours to go the first 2.5 miles. It was totally worth it though. We were going up through the clouds for most of it, and when we got to the top we were above them and it was one of the coolest/most beautiful things I have ever seen. Coming down was fun, and it was so steep i would just jump, sit down on the back of my snowshoes and slide like 30 feet.

that's where I wanted to go snowshoeing with Spencer on Saturday, but then he wussed out. And going up the ridge is very steep. Impressive.

I told my wife yesterday that if I lived up here (slc or some other hideous place) I would definitely get into snow shoeing. Doesn't make a lot of sense in st geezy though.

Adam- We really should.

Spencer- I understand you're just getting back into running and your fitness levels aren't where you wish they were. But snowshoeing, if you go hard, is a good workout, and could really help you. It's difficult, but I think you could do it. We should go sometime this week.
