Two mile today. Gun went off and I filled in right with the front pack. we were hitting 72's and 73's and came through the mile in like 4:50. Stayed right there in the top group until about 600 to go the front 5 guys took off and I just couldn't match that kind of speed right now. Tried hanging on to Travis Feeney the last lap, but he surged away with 200 to go, then Brody Smith from Wyoming passed me with like 50 to go. Final time was 9:38.05. I ended up beating Jamison by 1/100th of a second, and I stayed ahead of Colton Rimman who has beaten me at this race the past two years by like a second, so that was good. Overall a fun race, and 9:38 is right where I need to be right now. Justin ran 9:49 in th second heat, then we went and cooled down with Joe and Will from Timpanogos.
