Got up and did my workout in the morning before it gets too hot. Did about two miles of warmup along the river over to the nearest high school so I could use their track. The track was cool because the bleachers were on the inside on the backstretch, and it was nice and soft. Workout was 4x1 mile with about 2:30 recovery, which ended up just being a lap jog. First three were 5:08, 5:08, 5:07, then for my last one I hopped back on the river trail and did a 4:59. Felt very good, and never had to really go to the well which is always a good feeling. Afterwards did 3 miles cooldown on the river trail.
