| Mentally and emotionally today was one of the hardest days of my life, so when it got to about 6 o' clock I really wasn't feeling like running, but I forced myself out the door and I'm glad I did. Ran about a mile and a half to this big lake and did two laps around it before heading back. I felt like I was finally able to think clearly and it was nice. Averaged 6:35 pace throughout, then did 4x100 strides back at the hotel.

| Due to tracel all day I wasn't able to run until 11:40 pm and I just called it a day. I absolutely hate missing days, but Ill make the rest of the week solid.

| Went up and did my run with the team at camp, then did my tempo by myself. There was a storm that rolled in and some gnarly hills so the tempo miles were a bit slower than I wanted but it was still a very hard effort.

| 3x(100, 150, 200) hills on the hill right by house. I really liked this workout, it wasn't very hard mentally but by the end my legs were definitely burning. good stuff. Did it late at night so my friend Sam was sneaking out and saw me doing them and hopped in and did one with me haha.

Alpine Days 5k (3.107 Miles) 00:17:00, Place overall: 7, Place in age division: 7 | Slow miles | Fast miles | Total Distance | 8.50 | 3.10 | 11.60 |
| Went and ran the Alpine Days 5k with the team today. Didn't want to go too hard so the gun went off and I just kind of hung back with Cole Gray for the first 1200 or so. Just kept it easy and conversational, then saw Marc wasa bit ahead so I surged up to him and hit the mile in 5:37. Ran with him for the next 1200 then surged up to Trevor and hit mile 2 in 5:37 as well. Went up the steep hill in the cemetery and saw that Josh and Craik and kaleb weren't too far ahead and debated on going after them but decided it would take a little more effort than I wanted to exert so I just cruised until I hit 400 to go and decided to kick hard. Mile 3 was 5:25, then my last .1 was 24 seconds. Overall just a very fun time, and I never really went hard so I was truly able to just enjoy it. Afterwards finished up my miles.
