My week off is now over and it is time to get back on the horse. I decided to do the mountain run from my house. It was brutal. I had slept in, so I ended up running at 1:00 when it was really hot and I just felt so out of shape trying to run up all those hills. I was wrecked when i came back, but it felt good to get back to running.

Today it was only Jamison and I running after school. It was in the mid 90's outside and I could definitely feel it. We went up on Bonneville shoreline then cut down onto the canal where it goes under canyon road. At the end of the run we went and sat in the creek where it was shady and cool.

six easy miles at about 11:00 at night. Some friends and I drove down to the Mona rope swing today and it was awesome. I tried doing a backflip off of it but ate it hard.

Did 7 miles on the treadmill at our hotel in LA. Every half mile I would put it up 5 notches and at the end the last mile was probably in the 5:15-5:20 range. I felt good and I had just watched Galen Rupp break the American record in the 10k so I just felt like running fast, and I would envision myself in the race.
